As a furniture manufacturer, we work in only with responsible designers who care about the world of tomorrow.

Product Design Made in Basel

Our design process is independent and unconventional. The material determines our starting position. We then dare to dive into an area of conflict between requirements, production technology and technical implementation. We see these steps as an interactive game to come up with the most suitable solution. This process is the core of our work, which inspires us anew every day.

HUNTERS AND GATHERERS

As modern “hunters and gatherers” we track down valuable materials and give new life to them. Traces of time tell about the materials past and form one of the central design elements of our products.

SOCIAL RESPONSABILITY

Besides our creative work, Kyburz Made also stands for social responsibility. We develop solutions as a team, because a good team achieves more than only the sum of its members. The cooperation with our partner Overall, who takes on members of society that need reintegration into the professional life, plays an important role. We also work together with many partners from the area and believe in a locally anchored value chain.

LOCAL MANUFACTURE

The entire design process from the first idea to the production of our furniture takes place in our workshop Münchenstein near Basel. This is how we give all products the unadulterated signature of Kyburz Made.

COMPLETING THE CIRCLE

By delivering a piece of furniture to the customer, we return residual materials back into the cycle. We not only encourage conversation, but also carry the values and message of the past into the present. We take responsibility and find solutions for the upcoming challenges of our time.
