Wooden laundry basket made from SBB pallets
The smoothly sanded surface, made of wood reclaimed from transport pallets, retells the history of the material in a new form – your wooden laundry hamper. The fabric sack inside holds a generous amount of laundry (50 liters) and is sewn locally in the Region of Basel. As soon as the sack is full, just remove it from the wooden container (60, 30, 30 cm) and carry it easily to your washing machine. The original handles from the pallet are part of the wooden hamper, making it easy to reposition, too. You can even keep the basket in your washroom – the dampness won’t do it any harm.
You have a choice of two styles: A light version, with a white, sanded-down surface, and a rustic dark version. We also offer a larger laundry hamper in our online shop. Please contact us by phone or e-mail if you have any special wishes. We’re happy to help guide you through the process!
